OUR STORY

At Byrne & Love our philosophy is simple: we are what we love. We believe you are defined by the things that matter to you – the books you read, the art that moves you, the moments you remember and the people and places you love. With this notion in mind, we craft luxurious scented candles, paying homage to four essential pillars of a life well lived: love, literature, moments and memories.

Officially launched in 2020 we are proudly Australian. What started as a humble passion project quickly grew into a beloved luxury brand and everything we do is backed by artisanal knowledge and expert craftsmanship. We work closely with a skilled chandler and specialist perfumer to get our bespoke scents just right.

And so, our fragrances become a calling card for connection. We believe in the power of fragrance to tell a story, stir imagination and offer escape. Every time you burn one of our candles, it becomes infused with your own stories and unique memories. For us, our Avalon fragrance makes our space feel as light and joyous as summer does, as it conjures the crisp, ocean air of the northern beaches that we call home. When we burn our Baile scent we are transported to summer, with its rolling green fields and the smell of freshly cut grass in the air.

Each Byrne & Love candle is proudly locally made from only the finest ingredients and then lovingly poured and packaged on the shores of Sydney’s Avalon Beach. We use only the finest soy wax blend, lead-free cotton wicks and phthalate-free perfume oils infused with essential oils to bring you a product of the highest quality. Then, each candle is housed in an exquisite gift box in our favourite shade of blush pink. Every detail has been meticulously chosen to reflect our unique sensibility and to fill your space with love, memories and a little bit of magic.
